Tools for your mental health, sobriety, and emotional support.

Ben’s Friends

Choosing Sobriety, Together

In an industry where alcohol and stress often dominate the landscape, Ben’s Friends stands as a powerful support network for food and beverage professionals choosing a sober path.

Founded by and for hospitality workers in recovery, Ben’s Friends offers free peer-to-peer meetings, a strong community, and real tools for those seeking or maintaining sobriety. Whether you’re sober, curious, or just beginning your journey, you are welcome here.

Their mission is simple: help each other find freedom from addiction and build purposeful lives — together.

CHOW

Changing the Industry Standard

CHOW (Culinary Hospitality Outreach and Wellness) is reimagining what wellness looks like in hospitality — and it starts with stories, skills, and support.

They envision a future where cooks, servers, farmers, and dishwashers thrive in environments that value mental health, rest, and real connection. Through peer support groups and wellness resources, CHOW is helping hospitality workers talk openly, heal collectively, and advocate for change.

Because the people who serve us deserve to be seen, heard, and cared for.

Their mission is clear: create a real safety net where there once was none. Through emergency relief and unwavering support, they remind us that no one in hospitality should ever go through hardship alone.

The Burnt Chef Project
